Mr. Sato is chairperson of the Miyashiro Temporary Housing Residents’ Association in Fukushima city, and concurrently chairperson of the Namie Town Fukushima City Emergency Temporary Housing Union. He actively negotiated with the local government for the improvement of the living conditions of temporary housing.
