Rev. Tokuun Tanaka’s profile (as of September 2013)
Rev. Tanaka was born in Onahama, Iwaki city in Fukushima prefecture. He is a monk of the Soto sect, and the chief priest at “Dokeiji” temple in Odaka district, Minamisoma city. He and his family evacuated to Fukui prefecture and returned home to Iwaki city in spring 2013. He commutes from Iwaki city to the temple every day.
